1. About Dhivo

Dhivo ("the Platform") is an online marketplace operated by ObiTech (SP-1023/2016), a sole proprietorship registered in the Maldives under the Business Registration Act (Law No: 18/2014). The Platform connects buyers with sellers across the Maldives by aggregating product listings into a searchable directory.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Dhivo, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

3. Platform Role

Dhivo is a listing and discovery platform. We do not sell products directly, process payments, or handle delivery. All transactions occur directly between buyers and sellers. Buyers should contact sellers and agree on all terms of trade, including delivery and payment options, before completing a transaction. Dhivo is not a party to any transaction and does not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or availability of listed products. We cannot be held liable for any loss or damage arising from transactions related to listings on this site.

4. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
• Only one account per mobile number is allowed. If your registered mobile number changes, you must update it in your account settings.
• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• Accounts should only be registered for your own use. You are responsible for all activities and transactions on your account.
• Your display name must not contain vulgar, abusive, or offensive language, another party's brand or trademark, or the word "Dhivo".
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, have been inactive for more than three years, or are deemed to be misused.

5. Seller Responsibilities

• Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of their product listings, including prices, descriptions, and images. Listings must not contain misleading pictures or descriptions.
• Sellers must not list prohibited items including illegal goods, counterfeit products, stolen goods, weapons, or controlled substances. We take the sale of stolen goods seriously and will fully cooperate with investigating authorities, including sharing seller information such as email, phone number, and IP address.
• Duplicate listings are not permitted. Sellers should not list the same product multiple times, whether in the same or different categories. Submitting the same listings under multiple accounts is also not allowed. Repeated violations may result in listings being marked as spam and account restrictions.
• Selling items under an existing brand or trade name is not permitted unless you are the owner of that brand or trade name. Violations may result in account transfer to the rightful owner upon proof of ownership.
• Sellers are responsible for fulfilling orders and handling customer inquiries directly.
• Sellers must comply with all applicable laws of the Maldives.

6. Listing Guidelines

• All listings are subject to review. We reserve the right to reject, edit, or remove any listing that we deem inappropriate, misleading, or unrealistic.
• We may edit listing images or descriptions that are deemed misleading or inappropriate, including removing or reordering images.
• Listings should be placed in the correct category. Miscategorized listings may be moved or removed.

7. Imported Listings

Some listings on Dhivo are imported from third-party platforms (Instagram, iBay, etc.) to provide a comprehensive product directory. These listings are attributed to their original source. If you are the owner of an imported listing, you may claim your store through our seller portal to take control of your products.

8. Intellectual Property

The Dhivo name, logo, design, and original content are the property of ObiTech. Product listings, images, and descriptions belong to their respective sellers or original sources. You may not reproduce, scrape, or redistribute content from the Platform without permission.

9. Prohibited Conduct

• Automated scraping, crawling, or data extraction beyond what is permitted by our robots.txt.
• Creating fake accounts, fake reviews, or misleading listings.
• Placing orders or reviews on your own products, or through related accounts, to artificially inflate ratings or feedback. Such activity will result in immediate account suspension.
• Interfering with the operation of the Platform.
• Using the Platform for any unlawful purpose.

10. Limitation of Liability

Dhivo is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of listings, availability of products, or the conduct of sellers or buyers. ObiTech shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Platform or transactions between users. You agree to indemnify ObiTech against all claims, liability, damages, costs, and expenses, including legal fees, arising out of any breach of these Terms of Service by you.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Platform immediately, without prior notice, if we consider that you have breached these Terms of Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.

12. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will indicate the date of the last update at the top of this page.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Maldives.
